The collective monograph "Elements of Hill Mari from the typological point of view" (the title in Russian: "Элементы горномарийского языка в типологическом освещении") has been published as a result of our field project. It is primarily focused on grammatical phenomena: semantics of nominal and verbal categories, morphosyntax of noun phrases and postpositional phrases, valency-changing operations, clause syntax, polypredication etc. The book also includes a sociolinguistic sketch and basic information on phonology. Some lexical domains are discussed as well. Text samples are provided.
We are grateful to everyone who helped our project!
The pdf-version of the book will be made available later.
